about the founder
In 2007 I landed my first design job at a London-based agency with
6 internships and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communications from UCA under my belt.
Part of my role for the last 13+ years has been to find, interview and mentor creative interns at my employers’ studio – a role that I really enjoy and that I know has helped me grow both professionally and personally.
I wanted to create a place that improved access to fresh UK talent, provided skills in employability, and raised awareness of ‘placement poverty’ and its effect on diversity in the creative industries.
My hope is that Tern Heads will enable more businesses to hire talented interns and juniors and that industry professionals will come together to support the next generation through education as a whole.
we’ve found our dream jobs,
now it’s your tern!
